What people say about us
“I’m 75 and broke my shoulder in September. As I live alone I needed help with showering and hair washing.
The care I received was prompt, sympathetic, kind and helpful and I was so grateful to those who attended. They came along the day before I had surgery too and made sure I was spotless in preparation! They were also good company. I would definitely use them again if the need arose, so thanks Chislehurst Healthcare.”
“At very short notice the manager and her colleagues agreed to provide short-term care for my elderly mother who was recovering at home following an operation. The care was excellent. Thank you Chislehurst Health Care. I would highly recommend it and would have no hesitation to use their services again.”
“We heard about Chislehurst Healthcare through a friend at an opportune moment when my mother (who is 79 with early onset Alzheimers) had just fractured her wrist after a fall at home, meaning the level of support she needed changed. This was the first time we have considered using any form of care for mum and I won’t lie – we were sceptical. Mum is fiercely independent and that’s what keeps her so strong in these older years, so how do we find the right care partner to help maintain that independence but give mum the additional support she needs? Chislehurst healthcare was the answer. There are many things we enjoy about their service but what trumps it all is the carers themselves. They take their time to really get to know mum and just enjoy spending time with her, whilst subtly ticking off those care needs she has. Although mum’s wrist is now healed, the care continues and offers us ongoing peace of mind which is invaluable.”
“When I first considered home care for my dad I was very nervous about how he would respond to having strangers in the house. My first contact at Chislehurst Home Care with a particular staff member was polite helpful, and very aware of my requirements for my dad. Initially, she arranged to visit the house to meet Dad and brought with her the actual carers that would be looking after Dad.
I need not have been concerned, they did an excellent job, and my dad was happy with them. They went above and beyond to ensure my dad was comfortable and even enjoyed some chat with him.
There would be no question that I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a break, anyone looking after loved ones will know how important and relieving a break is.
My thanks to four members of staff in particular, you have made my life easier.”
“After our dad came out of hospital following several falls, we needed to be sure that he was going to be safe at night. We became aware of Chislehurst Healthcare as an option, and they visited Dad in hospital and went through a list of questions and issues prior to discharge to assess him and reassure him and us. The process was made easy by the professionalism and patience of the staff at this early stage. I was not present during the actual care stage as I had to return to my home, but felt reassured that someone would be there if he fell again. As he became stronger and more confident, the service was no longer needed – this is no reflection on the staff who were helpful and courteous. Although Dad became worried about the cost, we feel that the peace of mind for us knowing that he was safe outweighs that. Thank you.”
“At Chislehurst Healthcare, the care my mother receives surpasses anything I’ve encountered elsewhere. They offer invaluable support and guidance during what can be an overwhelming and unfamiliar journey. I never feel alone; they’re always there to lend an ear or offer assistance.”
“My 91 year old dad had a few falls and went into hospital. He was scared to go home alone and wanted to go into a care home. He was persuaded to go home with care and he was especially worried about night time. Chislehurst Healthcare provided night carers who help my dad regain his mobility and confidence, allowing him to return to independence. If he requires care again we will be using Chislehurst Healthcare again.
My sisters and I live far away and knowing that care was in place allowed us to be less stressed and they kept us up to date at all times.”
“Since my 99-year-old mum moved into a sheltered accommodation flat in February this year, Chislehurst Healthcare have been supporting her very well. The founder, her senior team and the other carers have been excellent. The senior team have taken great care to assess her needs and tailor a programme of support. They have consulted fully and been adaptable as mum’s needs changed. This is measurable in improvements in my mum’s physical and emotional health.
I fully recommend the company.”
